Senior Scrum Master
As a Senior Scrum Master, you will blend deep scrum expertise with a passion for mentoring, coaching and constant improvement. As part of a highly collaborative team, you will advise, mentor, coach, and train on performance against agile values, practices, and processes to accelerate team value delivery. In partnership with the Squad Leader, you will maintain a backlog, help to remove impediments, and facilitate agile events such as the daily scrum, sprint planning, backlog refinement and retrospectives. You will participate in scaling activities as you manage interdependencies across teams. You will examine and improve team performance through metrics and find opportunities with the team to fully realize the benefits of working in an agile structure.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience preferred.
- Certified Scrum Master preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in application of Agile/Scrum Principles to help accelerate value delivery.
- Excellent communication and people-interaction skills and can rapidly build trust and positively influence others at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrate a continuous improvement approach.
- A proven change agent capable of coaching and mentoring agile practices to teams and individuals across different functions and experiences as they work through new and unfamiliar situations.
- An effective facilitator and can partner with the team to generate solutions that address challenges and roadblocks.
- An intellectual curiosity and passion for learning new skills and modeling a culture of continuous learning.
