The Opportunity:


Join our innovative team as a Senior Web Application Architect within our Bank World Digital Software Development division. This is an exciting opportunity to influence the design and development of our new digital tooling product from its inception. Your expertise in application development, coupled with your passion for coding and architecture, will play a crucial role in shaping a tool that empowers customers to dynamically build web applications, accelerating their time-to-market for new service offerings.


What you’ll do:

• Architect & Design: Lead the design and implementation of our cutting-edge digital tooling solution for web and mobile applications.
• Collaborate: Maintain strong communication channels with development teams, product architects, and management to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Project Management: Actively participate in project estimation, planning, and delivery, adhering to agreed timelines.
• Global Engagement: Occasionally travel to our offices in Dublin, Amman, or Bangalore to collaborate with peers and architects.
• Support: Provide occasional out-of-hours support for the product as needed.
• Additional Responsibilities: Undertake any other tasks as required by your line manager.

What you’ll bring:

• Experience: 8+ years of experience in developing scalable web applications from scratch.
• Educational Background: A Degree or Diploma in Computer Science.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Proven ability to solve complex problems and deliver robust solutions.
• Leadership: Demonstrated experience in architecting and delivering technical solutions, with the capability to lead and inspire development teams.
• Innovation: A highly motivated self-starter with a track record of developing and launching new products.
• Attention to Detail: Strong aptitude for learning new technologies and a high level of attention to detail.
• Versatility: Ability to work across multiple product areas while maintaining a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly in English.

• Technical Expertise:

Experience with distributed architectures and Angular frameworks.
Knowledge of low-code frameworks, AI integration in low-code toolkits, and software testing methodologies.
Familiarity with software systems in the banking sector.

• Industry Experience: Experience in the Banking and Financial Services sector is a plus.
