Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Support Pharmacist to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in the daily operations of the pharmacy, ensuring the safe and effective delivery of medications and exceptional patient care. The role involves collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals to support the dispensary, assist patients, and maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
Provide expert advice and counseling to patients on the safe use of medications.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimise patient care.
Maintain records in accordance with PSI legal requirements.
Offer over-the-counter (OTC) medications and advice based on patient needs.
Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety protocols.
Participate in CPD and training to stay up to date with current PSI regulations.
Qualifications:
Valid MPSI registration.
Experience in community pharmacy.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work well in a team and provide excellent customer service.
Attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
