Kare Plus South Cork are now recruiting Support Worker for part-time or full-time work within South Cork/Cork City.
Applicant must have:

• minimum of a Level 5 qualification (8 modules complete), Healthcare Assistant
• Social Care Worker Student in third year
• an equivalent social care qualification a relevant qualification at a minimum of level 6 on the National Framework of Qualifications of Ireland (NFQ) in the areas of family support, social care, childcare, education
• similar disciplines

Applicants with a full license and own car are desirable.
Days, nights, and 12hr shifts available.
Duties (to include but not limited to);

• Ensure patient/resident confidentiality at all times.
• Assist the resident in all activities of daily living.
• Supporting assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of social work programs for residents according to professional standards.
• Manage patient care to ensure the highest professional standards using person-centred care.
• Liaise with the resident, other staff, and family members to provide the best care.
• Participate in the multi-disciplinary/healthcare team and work as part of a team
• Maintain records of assessments, interventions carried out, and communications relating to residents.

Required Education Skills and Qualifications;

• Minimum of a Level 5 qualification Healthcare Assistant or similar discipline.
