Sustainability Officer

Our client, an established leader in the data center industry, is experiencing rapid growth and is dedicated to advancing sustainable solutions across its operations in Northern Europe. Known for delivering complex, large-scale projects, our client is expanding to meet growing industry demand.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage the sustainability reporting process and maintaining ongoing compliance.
  • Oversee and support sustainability policies, ensuring alignment with evolving regulatory standards.
  • Monitor environmental and sustainability legislation, providing timely insights to maintain regulatory compliance.
  • Partner with client project teams and design groups to enhance sustainability efforts in project planning and execution.
  • Provide guidance to health, safety, and project teams on environmental compliance requirements.
  • Support contract review processes by advising on sustainability clauses and provisions.
  • Facilitate internal and external communications around sustainability and ESG initiatives.
  • Participate in site inspections to uphold compliance standards and liaise with client sustainability departments.
  • Offer additional support on compliance and sustainability initiatives as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Educational background in sustainability, environmental studies, construction, or regulatory compliance.
  • Data centre construction experience essential.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in sustainability/ESG, ideally in a compliance or regulatory role.
  • Experience with sustainability reporting, ideally within construction or infrastructure sectors.
  • Strong proficiency in English and solid communication skills.

Pay: €50,000.00-€65,000.00 per year
