Job Summary:
O'Hara's of Foxford, a renowned name in the bakery industry, is looking for a motivated and results-driven Vansales Representative to join our team. As the face of our company, you will be responsible for delivering our products to customers, maintaining strong relationships with clients, and ensuring sales targets are met. You will also play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service while managing an efficient and profitable sales route.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Customer Relations:

• Achieve sales, returns, and promotional targets in your designated area.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, acting as the company's key point of contact.
• Implement and manage agreed service levels, ensuring customer satisfaction at all times.
• Promote new products and support promotional programs in line with company strategies.

Route Management:

• Operate an efficient, effective, and profitable route, ensuring timely delivery of products to each customer.
• Ensure all customer orders are placed and amended daily, in line with company procedures.
• Ensure accurate stock rotation and shelf-life management in-store, maintaining agreed product ranges at all times.

Stock and Sales Administration:

• Complete daily stock reconciliation accurately and submit to the account owner.
• Manage returns and waste within the agreed targets.
• Ensure debt collection is carried out as required.
• Maintain accurate records for orders, deliveries, and promotional activities.

Vehicle & Personal Presentation:

• Maintain high standards of vehicle hygiene, safety, and maintenance as per company guidelines.
• Ensure personal presentation and cleanliness are of the highest standard, reflecting the O'Hara's brand.

Compliance & Safety:

• Adhere to O'Hara's Drivers Policy and all legal requirements, including full compliance with road safety regulations.
• Maintain and uphold company quality and hygiene standards at all times.
• Follow company policies regarding product returns, damaged goods, and other operational procedures.

Key Requirements:

• Full Driver’s License (required) and a clean driving record.
• Proven experience in a sales, delivery, or customer-facing role (preferably in FMCG or food-related industries).
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to meeting sales targets.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to cover the designated sales route.
• Basic understanding of stock control and sales reporting.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience in a similar vansales role, particularly within the bakery or food production sector.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Working Hours:
This is a full-time role with early starts and possible weekend work based on customer needs and the company’s delivery schedule.
