BI Team Leader

We are looking for an experienced Business Intelligence (BI) Team Leader to lead and mentor our BI development team. This role involves guiding a small team of BI professionals, delivering innovative Power BI solutions, and collaborating with senior stakeholders across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a balance of technical expertise, leadership experience, and strong communication skills in both Hebrew and English.

Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Oversee and mentor BI professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment, team development.
- Solution Development: Design, develop, and implement innovative Power BI solutions that address complex business challenges.
- Stakeholder Management: Work closely with stakeholders across various departments to understand their data needs, translating these into effective BI solutions. Present insights and analysis to high-level executives.
- Data Management: Ensure the integrity, security, and accessibility of our organization's data assets through effective data governance and management practices.
- Technical Expertise: Leverage deep knowledge of Power BI and SQL to build efficient and scalable data pipelines and visualizations.
- Innovation: Stay updated of emerging BI trends and technologies to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation.
- Strategic Thinking: Contribute to the development of the organization's overall BI strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Proven Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in Power BI, including design, development, and implementation of BI solutions.
- Team Leadership: At least 2 years of experience as a BI team leader, with a track record of successfully managing and developing teams.
- Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in Power BI, SQL, and data warehousing concepts, with familiarity with the Qlik View system.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for data-driven insights.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in Hebrew and English, ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Presentation Skills: Excellent presentation, preparation and delivery skills.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to inspire and motivate team members, foster a positive work culture, and drive high performance.
- Business Acumen: A solid understanding of business processes, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Data Governance: Experience with data governance frameworks and best practices to ensure high data quality.
- Technical Skills (Preferred): Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS Power Platform), data lake architecture, and data integration tools.
- Industry Experience: Experience in the nonprofit sector is a plus.
