RINA is currently recruiting for a Environmental Consultant to join its office in Genoa, Italy within the Energy Engineering Solutions Division.
Mission
We are looking for an Environmental Consultant to join our Environmental Engineering Team dealing with delivery of permitting-related services, environmental studies, environmental monitoring and modeling, compliance assessments, due diligence, and audits to evaluate compliance with Italian and European regulations or International Standards.
Job Responsibility
  • Management of Environmental Studies (or part of the studies).
  • Liaise with contractors in charge of the preparation of parts of the studies.
  • Collaborate with other members of the team in preparing technical and financial offers.
  • Perform site surveys and field visits.
  • We are looking for someone who will be able to focus also on plants' emission inventory, estimation, calculation, monitoring and reporting.
Experiences and Requirements
  • Relevant previous experience in similar assignments and roles.
  • Italian as mother tongue; fluency in English is mandatory & other languages will be considered as a plus
  • Good knowledge of GIS tools and application
  • Good knowledge of Italian & EU environmental legislation, international standards and applicable best practices
  • Availability to travel in Italy ad abroad for field visits, site surveys, etc
  • Good knowledge of industrial/energy/oil&gas plant process features will be consider as a plus
  • Good knowledge of environmental monitoring and modeling tools (air, noise, water, etc.) will be considered as a plus


Education
Bachelor’s Degree
Master’s Degree in Environmental Engineering or Engineering General
