In the context of the energy transition, Biogas Solutions Europe business has seen double-digit growth for the last years in Europe. This business includes the technologies and solutions that we offer throughout the value chain, from the production of biomethane, to its ultimate use (in transportation, industry, or for the production of low-carbon hydrogen).

Our European business is currently focused on France, the United Kingdom, Scandinavia (Sweden and Norway), and Italy. Our growth is driven by the opening of several biomethane production plants and by strong demand from industry and the transportation sector. And finally, as we have developed our solutions across the biomethane value chain, various projects have emerged as examples of a local circular economy.


How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?


Air Liquide Biogas Solutions Italia is a young entity focused on Bio-LNG plants engineering, construction and operation.
It now has several Bio-LNG plants running in the Est-Milan area ; while others are in the project. These plants produce Bio-LNG using agricultural feedstock and have an integrated treatment with the whole value chain on the same plant, making it a very complete industrial model.
The operations team is growing as well and needs some support in order to be more efficient on both plant management and reporting.

You will report directly to the Sustainability & Logistics Manager and your main objective will be to manage the day-to-day logistics of the Bio-LNG and to manage the daily data reporting in order to both ensure steady customer invoicing, and to create the monthly reporting towards the State and the regulation organizations.

Part of the Operations team in Italy, your main missions will be to :

• Manage the day-to-day logistics of the Bio-LNG, in contact with the customers, the commercial team and the Production team.
  
• Organize the LNG loadings onsite in contact with plant operators, customers logistics coordinators, and lead technical troubleshooting if necessary.
  
• Perform daily a sanity check of data provided by the plants, both on production data, energy data, and LNG loadings data. Correct the data if necessary in link with the production team.
  
• Ensure the monthly data necessary to create the Sustainability reports are provided by the different suppliers : feedstock reports, feedstock invoices, quantities, delivery notes etc.
  
• Help the Sustainability Manager construct the monthly report towards regulation organizations, take part to plants verification for Sustainability
  
• Propose optimization of Automated sustainability tools to adapt to new regulation and market dynamics
  
  

You will interact with the Asset Performance manager responsible for the production of the plants, with the Sustainability manager in charge of Database tools and legal reporting, and with the Maintenance manager in charge of maintenance organization, execution and purchasing.
You will have the opportunity to be involved in general operations, maintenance and commissioning activities onsite allowing you to discover industrial assets from the inside.

Are You a Match ?


You are graduating in one of these majors : Chemical engineering, Energy, Process engineering, Environmental engineering.
You are interested in working as operations engineer in fields linked to biogas, gas processing and industrial compliance.
Your English is fluent and you are comfortable in handling relations with different stakeholders within the organization.
You are an Italian speaker and thus able to interact on a daily basis for both plant activities or reporting related activities.
You have skills in coding and feel comfortable in working on small user-oriented projects in Java Script as well as performing troubleshooting.
You are flexible, adaptable and have good communication skills. You have a problem solving approach.
You feel comfortable with the fact of working onsite on a plant from time to time under the supervision of the Operations team, and you are interested in discovering an industrial activity from the very inside and practical side.
