You will works directly with the Head of Compliance in Japan and support the Japan Compliance Department day-to-day administrative routine work.
What is the opportunity?
As the Compliance Assistant (3 month contract, Oct – Dec), you will works directly with the Head of Compliance in Japan and support the Japan Compliance Department day-to-day administrative routine work.

What will you do?

• Support Central Compliance roles for two entities in Japan, Securities and Banking branches
• Assist with regulatory Compliance reporting both internal and external
• Prepare, review and maintain records and other Compliance-related documentation
• Corporate secretarial work
• Communication with local staff and external regulatory people in Japan (i.e. JSDA, JBA, FSA, etc.)
• Perform other general Compliance related duties as assigned
• Experience in Microsoft Excel and Power Point for basic analytics and presentation
• Assist with the monitoring & testing report on the Compliance checks

What do you need to succeed?
Must-have

• Degree or equivalent is required
• Business level English

Preferred

• JSDA’s Type 1 sales rep qualification and internal control manager qualification
• Financial Compliance work experience in Japan
