Are you interested in the opportunity in FX operations team where you will play a key role by supporting Sales and Trading activities?

As an FX Operations - Analyst within Market Operations, you will be responsible for trade flow management and post trade controls for Trading and Sales Desks. Responsibilities also include coordination with various internal departments to facilitate business initiatives, and critical controls on transactions including internal and regulatory reporting. The team is also actively involved in global projects to implement new systems and create globally consistent and cost-effective support model.
Job responsibilities

• Provide operational support for Japan FX Currency desks
• Perform control functions such as daily trade monitoring, reconciliations across systems and failed trades management
• Manage trade lifecycle events such as fixings, call events & triggers for Non Deliverable Forwards and Options and maintain intra-day curves and pricing environments for supported products
• Reconcile position and P&L, including break investigation and resolution
• Perform regulatory reporting (JFSA) reconciliation and monitoring
• Liaise with partners globally such as IT, COO, Market Risk, Ops Risk and Project Management on ad-hoc basis
• Take initiative to streamline and enhance daily processes
• Compile and submit MIS reports to senior stakeholders
• Script digital solution to automate manual processes

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Team player with good interpersonal skills and ability to work with operations and technology
• Be involved in global as well as local projects aimed for supporting new business, striving for efficiency, and streamlining to increase team's capacity
• Well motivated, enthusiastic, and strong work ethic with positive attitude in learning and towards changes
• Ability to work in a pressurized environment with tight deadlines to meet on a regular basis by prioritizing and multi-tasking
• Good communication skills especially when describing problems and explaining solutions
• Promptness and accuracy, control focused, client focused
• Fluent in English and Japanese
• Strong knowledge of Compliance / Regulation / Market as well as OTC derivatives/ Bonds/ FX

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Proficient programming skills as well as in MS applications (Excel, Access, Power Point)
• Settlements knowledge
• Good client communication skills
• Multi-tasking capability with accuracy and risk control mindset
