Your JobHRBP in Shizuoka is closely work with site business leaders and collaborate with other plant HR (Japan and overseas) to develop, implement, and work on site vision, so that plant could attracts, develop and retains the employees. As a member of the Plant leadership team, you will engage with business leaders to help execute the plant vision and strategy.

As Shizuoka plant has an opportunity for new product with big customer, we are transforming to become more preferred plant for customer.

What You Will Do
- Support site business leader with providing effective and efficient HR support to meet the business objectives. Ensure Key HR metrics supporting the business are beyond expectation and site business leaders have confidence & consult site HR Leader for advice or guidance on HR issues / challenges.
- Assist site business leaders to identify talent through the assessment tools & manage their talent pipeline to support current & future business need. Put in place action plans and strategies to attract, develop and retain the talent.
- Facilitate compensation knowledge sharing sessions with site business leaders and support them on compensation & decision right to hire and retail talent to support long term growth of the organization.
- Facilitate regular employee communication meetings, monitor the relations climate and promote employee engagement initiatives to sustain harmonious workplace. Action is taken or escalated to corporate for advice or guidance if it's beyond the scope of entity level.
- Act as a role model of walk-the-talk of company culture and apply PBM -our management philosophy to the HR practices and system, develop own point of view on the organization's talent relative to the culture. Support the business leaders in internalizing PBM models & tools, identifying & addressing issues not aligned with PBM.
- Drive, oversee, manage and implement social responsibility/Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) initiatives and ensure compliance to all labor and employment related policies and procedures. Develop and implement a program that result in a favorable company image in the community.
- Lead Organizational Change - Lead organizational change in a respectfully and courageously manner. Acquire, share and apply knowledge to continuously improve decisions and results of the organization.
- Demonstrate the integrity and courage to challenge our leaders and ourselves to think differently, raise issues and lead change.
- Partner to improve our supervisors' capabilities to effectively create an inclusive culture and apply our performance management, talent management and compensation philosophies
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience in Human Resources, Talent Management, Learning and Development, or other related business function(s) with transferrable consulting/advising/coaching skills, including experience with and exposure to applicable employment laws/regulations
- Self-starter, strong initiative, ability to manage multiple, conflicting priorities with limited guidance, ability to adapt and change approach as the situation warrants, comfortable under pressure and with ambiguity
- Excellent interpersonal & coaching skills and energetic person.
- Japanese: Native or business, English-Business
