Manager, Enterprise Marketing SEO

The SEO Manager owns the performance of on- and off-site search engine optimization for Spectrum Enterprise web properties and drives innovation with a focus on increasing organic search engine performance. This role will collaborate with brand marketing, strategic communications, content strategy, product marketing and demand gen teams to maximize traffic and revenue through organic search. This role is responsible for the development and execution of SEO strategy, content and measurement.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Actively and consistently lead all SEO efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience through organic search.
- Collaborate with the broader Spectrum Enterprise Marketing team, program management and other stakeholders to help inform marketing program strategy.
- Responsible for translating the strategic direction of Spectrum Enterprise Marketing programs into an SEO roadmap.
- Effectively execute search initiatives that achieve the goals reflected in the SEO roadmap in a timely manner.
- Assist with all content development to achieve Marketing program goals by consulting on organic search considerations and editorial review of web content as it is developed to ensure that it is optimized.
- Responsible for keyword management, research and measurement for web page optimization and new content development.
- Partner with SEO agency and utilize tools to identify technical and on-page issues impacting organic search performance.
- Translate issues into solutions, providing web development team clear requirements. Track project progress and implementation timelines.

Conduct competitive analysis within the enterprise technology and telecommunications spaces, providing recommendations to improve website findability and SEO performance.
Maximize lead generation opportunities through tuning of organic search traffic. - Stay up to date on SEO trends, search engine algorithm updates and technology. Educate internal teams on changes and impacts to the web properties.
- Manage budgets, projects and relationships with SEO vendors and representing the business goals and strategy of the Spectrum Enterprise Marketing organization to ensure aligned solution delivery
- Audit and analyze SEO performance, identify issues, find root causes and experiment with solutions to improve and scale performance.
- Develop and maintain regular reporting processes for organic search performance, and present to stakeholders and senior management.
- Proactively review and identify SEO growth opportunities across Charter Communications (Residential, SMB and Enterprise)
- Build strong relationships and work across complex geographically dispersed teams in an environment of change.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Required Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in front- and back-end search engine optimization with ownership over site performance
- Should be collaborative, curious, creative, analytical, organized and detail oriented.
- Ability to work proactively, think creatively and foster dialogue across diverse groups including internal stakeholders, developers, quality assurance/test teams and vendors.
- Willingness to experiment with new techniques, analyze what works and what doesn’t and apply learnings to new tactics or programs.
- Ability to take initiative and drive efforts to meet website traffic goals and key performance indicator (KPI) targets. Proven ability to deliver results effectively, set expectations and identify risks to delivery.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and proficiency in visual communication and presentation of information. The capability to interact with people at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to learn and adapt to the changing landscape of the web environment.
- Demonstrated ability to build and effectively manage strong and sustainable relationships with internal and external partners and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to identify, understand and drive the resolution of complex critical issues. Skill with problem solving both operationally oriented issues and larger organizational or infrastructure-related issues.
- Proven organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects and solid attention to detail.
- A continuous improvement mindset and a desire to explore options for improving effectiveness and quality of SEO tactics.
- Knowledge of and experience with web technologies including HTML, CSS and Java Script.
- Experience with website analytics applications (Adobe Analytics preferred) and SEO tools such as Bright Edge, Moz Pro, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console.
- An understanding of digital marketing, brand messaging, information architecture, customer experience best practices and design principles.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office particularly Excel and Power Point.
Required Education
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, computer information systems, analytics, or similar field preferred
