At Baxter Healthcare Corporation, we are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Sr Accountant to join our team in Japan. As a Sr Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the flawless execution of accounting operations and contribute to the overall success of our organization. Your exceptional attention to detail and proven ability to successfully implement accounting processes will be key to your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and process 3rd party payments to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Prepare Cheque and Tax related payments, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
• Perform month-end closing for AP, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate the audit process and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Handle document filing and voucher management, ensuring proper organization and easy retrieval of financial records.
• Serve as a backup for reviewing and processing T&E payments, maintaining accuracy and efficiency in expense reimbursement.
• Act as the coordinator on behalf of the finance team, collaborating with the commercial team in our Japan office to support financial operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, with a strong background in the field.
• Minimum of 3 years of confirmed experience in accounts payable or a related area, demonstrating a solid understanding of accounting principles.
• Strong communication skills in both English and Japanese (knowledge of Mandarin is an advantage), facilitating successful collaboration with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Excellent communication skills to establish connections with colleagues and individuals at every level.
• Positive attitude towards work, with a dedication to delivering results.
• Consistent record to work efficiently and effectively, with a focus on meeting deadlines and accomplishing objectives.
• Quick learner with a team working spirit, ready to adapt to challenges and give to a collaborative work environment.
• Experience with JDE is a plus, showcasing your familiarity with accounting software systems.
