We are the engineering team in Nomura Group, a leading company in the industry having a strong global presence among Japanese financial institutions. Our Japan Business Service Group belongs to Corporate IT, which develops applications for domestic departments and group companies of Nomura Securities using Agile methodology. Our mission is to contribute to the promotion of DX in cooperation with Business users, with agile development of "Made in Japan" quality utilizing the latest technology. Engineers are flexibly involved with a wide variety of in-house development and projects. Communication within the team is in Japanese and sometimes in English as it is made up of multinational members.

We are currently seeking a permanent team member to join the Identity function, focusing primarily on engineering best-in-class solutions across our Secrets and Privileged Access Management (PAM) platforms. This is a global team looking after products such as Cyber Ark, Conjur and PKI/Certificate management. The team provides the engineering capability, L3 support [to the Operations team] and support for technical handovers. The successful applicant will drive process improvement through automation and engineer solutions which are designed to enable continual service improvements. SRE working practices made be adopted in the future.

Responsibilities：
・Provide technical design and engineering for PAM & Secrets Management platform
・Management of projects relating to upgrades, configuration, installation, integration and engaging with stakeholders to fully understand requirements.
・Follow a standard software engineering lifecycle from requirements analysis to the design, implementation, validation, installation and maintenance of key platforms.
・Engage with the Operations team to provide handover documentation, including updates and maintenance of run books and technical documentation.
・Provide onsite L2/L3 support to monitor and work on service restoration of platforms deployed globally when incidents takes place, under Follow-the-Sun support model or provide on-call support as necessary.
・Engage with application teams to deliver compelling PAM & Secrets Management services
・Assist in restructuring of existing processes and identify opportunities to further automate processes.
・Strong coding skills to assist with product integrations and extensions.
・Adherence to company IT policies, industry standards and regulatory requirements.
