About Our Client
Our client is global financial services company based in Japan. They known for its strong presence in both domestic Japanese markets and international financial centers. Their expertise includes equity and fixed-income trading, research, and advisory services. They refers to their division or services related to trading and investment offered to institutional and individual clients.Job Description
- Providing support for software, hardware, and network issues and troubleshooting problems, diagnosing root causes, and implementing solutions to ensure minimal disruption to trading activities in a timely manner.
- Provide rotational weekend and on-call support
- Continuously monitoring trading systems and infrastructure to identify potential issues before they impact operations
- Working closely with other IT teams, such as development and infrastructure teams, to resolve complex issues and to implement system improvements globally and locally.
- Design and manage enterprise-scale migrations for platform upgrades or changes, e.g. on-premise to cloud-based mailboxes
- Support infrastructure components of Microsoft Exchange email (on-premise and Online/cloud-based), Mobile Iron, Right Fax, Microsoft Teams, Veritas Enterprise Vault archiving, Proofpoint SMTP Infra, and more
The Successful Applicant
- Experience of collaboration and messaging related roles in a global organisation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with end-users, technical teams, and management in English and Japanese.
- Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
- Solid knowledge of Active Directory concepts, Exchange and SMTP mail routing, enterprise mobile device management frameworks, Microsoft Teams
- Skilled with Power Shell scripting and other automation methodologies
