About the Role
This is a full-time role for a QA/QC Engineer located in Ahmadi. As a QA/QC Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that all project activities adhere to established quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements. You will conduct inspections, tests, and audits to verify the quality of work performed by subcontractors and construction team, contributing to the successful compliance of the project.

This is a full-time role for a QA/QC Engineer located in Ahmadi. As a QA/QC Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that all project activities adhere to established quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements. You will conduct inspections, tests, and audits to verify the quality of work performed by subcontractors and construction team, contributing to the successful compliance of the project.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in QA/QC roles within the oil and gas construction industry, or environmental projects, with a strong understanding of quality standards, codes, and regulations.
- Certification in quality management (e.g., ISO 9001, 14000) preferred.
- Experienced in KOC projects with an approval is a plus.
- Must have valid transferrable residency in Kuwait.
- Assist in creating and implementing quality plans that outline objectives, inspection requirements, and acceptance criteria based on project specifications and industry standards.
- Work with the project team to develop quality control plans, inspection procedures, and assurance protocols.
- Participate in QA audits and reviews to ensure compliance with project and quality management requirements.
- Ensure construction activities meet relevant quality standards and regulations.
- Implement QC measures to monitor the quality of work by subcontractors, suppliers, and construction teams.
- Conduct inspections and tests to verify materials and workmanship against established standards.
- Identify, document, and report any non-conformances or quality deficiencies.
- Investigate root causes of issues and help implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Monitor the quality performance of subcontractors and suppliers through inspections and audits.
- Provide technical support to ensure compliance with project quality requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of QA/QC activities, including inspection reports and corrective actions.
- Prepare regular QA/QC status reports for stakeholders and management.
- Communicate QA/QC requirements and findings to project teams and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with project management and project team to resolve quality issues promptly.
- Identify opportunities and participate in lessons learned sessions for process improvements in QA/QC activities.
