Your tasks :

At this role you will join the local Controlling team of Luxembourg where you will support the production plants in improving operational efficiency and cost control.

• Create monthly and annual reports to identify variances, trends and improvement opportunities
• Assist in production activity control to meet business and financial objectives
• Estimate costs using accounting models to help determine the price of production (cost center planning and activity price calculation)
• Provide controlling functions for a subsidiary based in Lyon, France, including monthly closings, stock valuations, sales and financial reporting, budgeting, and support with SAP rollout (some travel to be expected)
• Work with Management information systems to ensure accurate recording of financial results
• Provide financial support for decision making, qualifying the financial impact of alternative production options and capital investment decisions
• Ad hoc Analysis

Your profile

• Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Economics, Finance or similar
• A first experience (including internships) is a plus
• A first experience in SAP FI/CO is a plus
• Strong analysis and problem-solving skills
• High level of responsibility and reliability
• Ability to see beyond the current state and create new, well-defined processes
• Fluent level of French and English is required. German is an asset
