Lead Amazon's Sustainability Transformation as our Strategic Engagement and Partnership Program Manager
Are you a visionary leader driven to create positive change? Join our dynamic Global Sustainability team and spearhead the creation and implementation of Amazon's GPS Strategic Engagement and partnership initiatives. As our Program Manager for ESG, you will have the opportunity to drive transformative strategies that position Amazon as a force for good, elevating our social, economic, and environmental impact worldwide through best practices in sustainability and supplier diversity.

Main Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Cross-Functional leaders: You will partner with leaders across Amazon's Worldwide Operations, including Sustainability, Supplier Diversity & Inclusion, Economic Development, Public Policy, and more. Leverage your exceptional communication and relationship-building skills to align on key messaging, policies, and global campaigns that advance our ESG agenda. Work closely with communications, policy, and marketing teams to craft compelling executive-level content, ensure policy alignment, and amplify our impact at key supplier diversity and ESG activations and initiatives.
Champion Innovative Supplier Diversity: You will develop forward-thinking strategies to foster a diverse, equitable, and inclusive supply chain. Identify and onboard impactful new suppliers, driving positive change in communities worldwide. Showcase your strategic skills as you streamline processes, track KPIs, and proactively mitigate risks. Partners with advocacy organizations to execute this.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience in program management or supply chain operations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and project management
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Program management experience
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with ESG initiatives and sustainability strategies
  • Lean/Six Sigma expertise
  • Expertise in financial/inventory management software
  • Branding, marketing, high-impact content creation skills, and story telling

A day in the life
As an Engagement and Partnerships Sr. Mgr, you'll lead Amazon's efforts to increase awareness, adoption, and compliance with its Supply Chain Standards and ESG frameworks. Your day involves coordinating with cross-functional teams to develop strategic engagement plans for key stakeholders, including suppliers, advocacy groups, associations, and academic institutions. You'll host informational sessions, analyze supplier data, prepare thought leadership content, and monitor industry trends to position Amazon as a leader in responsible supply chain management. Throughout, you'll leverage your communication, stakeholder management, and project coordination skills to drive positive impact and build Amazon's reputation as a force for good.
