Role Overview:
The Education career path counsellor Academic & Careers will play a vital role in ensuring that students and job seekers achieve their academic goals and successfully transition into their careers. This position involves providing support, guidance, and resources to enhance the student experience and promote engagement and retention throughout their journey at Sigma School.

Key Responsibilities:

• Student Guidance: Serve as the primary contact for students, offering support in academic planning, career exploration, and personal growth.
  
• Engagement Programs: Design and execute initiatives to boost student engagement, satisfaction, and success.
  
• Career Development Resources: Partner with industry professionals to create career-related resources, workshops, and student networking events.
  
• Performance Monitoring: Oversee student progress, track engagement levels, and identify those needing additional support, implementing strategies to help them succeed.
  
• Collaborative Efforts: Collaborate with faculty and other departments to ensure a unified approach to promoting student success and addressing challenges.
  
• Continuous Improvement: Collect and analyse student and client feedback to enhance programs and initiatives aimed at improving the student experience.
  
• Create FFG user career profile: Work with our AI tool to help the user find work. Develop and grow partnership relations to assist our customers in reaching their career.
  
• Events and Workshops: Plan and lead workshops, seminars, and events focused on academic skills, career readiness, and personal development.
  
• Reporting and Analysis: Compile and present reports on student performance and program effectiveness, providing insights for strategic planning.
  

Qualifications and Skills:

• Educational Background: Bachelors degree in Education, Psychology, Human Resources, or a related field; a Masters degree is an advantage.
  
• Professional Experience: Demonstrated experience in student services, academic advising, or career counselling, preferably within an educational setting.
  
• Communication Abilities: Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of effectively engaging and motivating students.
  
• Relationship Building: Excellent interpersonal skills to develop connections with students, faculty, and industry partners.
  
• Problem-Solving Aptitude: Skilled at identifying challenges and devising effective solutions to enhance student success.
  


• Organisational Expertise: Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
