This role involves managing the South East Asia branch in Malaysia and providing support for market development, business expansion, and administrative services throughout the region.
The responsibilities include supporting commercial activities across various SEA channels, reviewing financial budgets and forecasts, and developing market strategies for chilled, powder, and ingredient businesses. Additionally, the position focuses on building long-term relationships with customers and collaborating with government organizations to strengthen industry partnerships, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regional growth..
Job Responsibilities:
Business Development
- Ensure budgets are set in line with objectives
- Provide help for SOP and Finance for forecasts
- Prepare reports on results versus the budget and forecast, clearly explaining variances to these benchmarks
- Provide market knowledge and an understanding of the regulatory requirements for each of the market.
- Work closely with Business Development Coordinator, to ensure proper and efficient delivery and consume the forecasts and any excess inventory.
- Work closely with Business Development Coordinator and other stakeholders
- Working to ensure specifications are valid and up to date, meet customer and country expectations and meet operational capability
- Support claim management and settlement
- Follow up with customers as needed.
- Coordinating and analysing budgets and forecast and providing inputs into the Integrated Business Plan process across all Divisions
- Understanding plant capability is an important part of this function to avoid over committing on capability and ensure milk solids are in the right site
- Support market development efforts by actively seeking, and strategically reviewing potential product development opportunities around value added products as defined by demand, competitor activity and changing trade rules.
- Experience and knowledge of Dairy and Dairy products/ingredients and their application/function
- Experience in Export processes and environment within the South East Asia countries
- Strong commercial and marketing experience
- Must be experienced with the principles of forecasting, budgeting and business development
- Must be able to converse in Hindi
- Open for Malaysian only.
- Must have had some systems-based experience ideally in SAP but not essential
Pay: RM25,000.00 - RM27,000.00 per month
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Yearly bonus
