Lead Indirect Tax Analyst

Role Summary:
Our Tax Team provides support for the business in tax advisory, tax compliances, financial and operational internal controls. This is including process simplification and operational excellence to deliver accurate actual financial reporting and analysis.

You will support Malaysia and India tax jurisdictions to manage e-invoice requirements of Malaysia, SST advisory, and other indirect tax related functions for Malaysia, and other APAC regions.
Essential Responsibilities:-
Pay: RM3,046.98 - RM7,000.00 per month

You will support Malaysia and India tax jurisdictions to manage e-invoice requirements of Malaysia, SST advisory, and other indirect tax related functions for Malaysia, and other APAC regions.
Essential Responsibilities:-
- Coordination with AR & AP team to ensure we have data ready for e-invoice generation on time
- Preparation of data for e-invoice generation from Government Portal
- Coordination with DT team to have reports aligned to manually generate e-invoice
- Reviewing and control all the data from our various ERPs to ensure timely e-invoice
- Working with customer care team to ensure customers masters are up to date
- Working on areas of improvement from SST law perspective and helping on advising
- Completing the periodic filing of tax portal and other statistical reporting
- Have an experience to work, operate, SAP/ Oracle, Advanced Microsoft Excel, Macros, Alteryx.
- Have bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Audit, or related field. Professional qualification ACCA/CIMA/CPA/CA or equivalent is an advantage.
- Have minimum 2 years Indirect Tax/ other taxes experience for any tax jurisdiction.
- Possess good analytical skills with proactive mind-set, with the ability to bring expert advice and problem-solving skills to the team.
- Demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills, with good spoken and written English.
- Be results oriented, self-motivated and have the ability to work solo and remotely.
Pay: RM3,046.98 - RM7,000.00 per month
