Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced Lead Java Developer to join our innovative team in Kuala Lumpur. The successful candidate will have over 15 years of experience in Java development, with expertise in microservices architectures. This role involves leading a team of developers, driving solution design and implementation, and ensuring the highest quality standards in code and performance.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of microservices-based applications.
• Mentor and guide a team of Java developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work culture.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features and enhancements.
• Drive best practices in software development, including coding standards, testing, and version control.
• Participate in architecture discussions, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues, ensuring high availability and scalability of applications.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously optimize development processes.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 15 years of hands-on experience in Java development.
• Proven experience as a Lead Java Developer with expertise in microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in Java frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate) and RESTful API development.
• Strong understanding of cloud technologies and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with a proven ability to mentor junior developers.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices.
• Knowledge of database technologies (SQL and No SQL).
