Occupational, Safety & Health Officer (Mandarin Speaker)

- Manage and maintain record on reported incidents and accidents, conduct investigations / inspection findings, and propose recommendations for improvement or preventive measures.
- Develop, implement and maintain Safety, Health, Environment and Security policies and procedures.
- Maintain and promote awareness to employees to ensure adoption and adherence to the company’s policies and procedures in related to Safety, Health, Environment and Security.
- Ensure that safety and health practices are in accordance with company and government mandates.
- Liaison with the Local Authorities (DOSH, DOE AND BOMBA) on matters concerning Safety measures & other related matters.
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Candidate must be certified Safety and Health Officer (SHO) and obtain Green Book from NIOSH / Possess certificate of Attendance of Safety & health Officer / Coordinator Courses with at least 2 years of related working experience: preferable having exposure in ISO 45001:2018 and others ISO practices
- Able to interact with local authorities, consultants, contractors and all level of staffs
- Computer Literate, Good command of written and spoken English and Malay
- Knowledge in the fields of safety compliance and auditing.
- Proven experience as a Safety and Health Officer or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and standards.
- Fluency in Mandarin is preferred for candidates as the role involves interactions with Mandarin-speaking clients
Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
