Job Responsibilities
  • Assist in analyzing sales data, market trends, and consumer insights to identify opportunities
  • Assist in conducting market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, pricing strategies, and potential product gaps.
  • Assist in monitoring inventory levels, and making recommendations for replenishment and stock allocation.
  • Support the implementation of promotional activities.
  • Negotiation with supplier on new product listing, pricing and costing, sales promotion and trading term.
  • Issuing purchase order and coordination of all the details required to carry out the order successfully.
  • Reviewing merchandising performance on a regular basis to actively react to market situation providing sufficient stocks available at all time in outlet for sales maximization.
  • Daily operational issues which includes sales promotion activities, merchandise compliances and internal memo circulation.
  • Sales report preparation.
  • Any Ad-hoc task assigned by Superior from time to time.
Requirement
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field is often preferred.
  • Prior experience in a retail or merchandising environment is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with basic merchandising concepts
  • 2 to 3 years experience on retail/merchandising experience in bookstores, FMCG, retail.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills; Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment.
  • Able to speak Mandarin will be an added advantage.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
