Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately input financial data into accounting software and Excel databases.
• Process purchase orders, invoices, bills, and receipts.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Reconcile bank statements and financial records.
• Handle invoices from suppliers and contractors.
• Assist in preparing quarterly or annual financial reports (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements).
• Compile and analyze financial data for internal and external reports.
• Maintain organized financial records and documents, ensuring proper filing of POs, invoices, receipts, and other documents.
• Support external audit processes, including documentation and issue resolution.
• Coordinate with tax agents, bankers, and government bodies.
• Monitor and record company expenses, preparing expense reports and reimbursement requests as needed.
• Support budget preparation and tracking, reporting on variances and financial performance.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and accounting standards, maintaining internal controls for financial security.
• Work with vendors, clients, and internal departments on billing, payments, and other financial matters.
• Provide administrative support to the accounting team, assist with documentation, and support special projects as needed.

Requirements:

• Education: Diploma/Bachelor in Accounting or related fields.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in an accounting role.
• Languages: Proficiency in Chinese, English, and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in accounting software (SQL) and Microsoft Excel.
• Other Skills: Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills, knowledge of accounting principles, and ability to manage full-set accounts.
• Industry Experience: Previous experience in the construction industry is a plus.
