• Responsible for overall group accounting & financial activities, including SST and related tax matters.
• Review and address timely and accurate financial reports, accounting data entries and reconciliations to appraise the operating results in terms of profitability and effectiveness of the company, including preparing and perform journal entries on depreciation, HP interest, term loan interest and other related journal entries.
• Liaising with auditors and tax agents to ensure annual monitoring is carried out with statutory requirements and liaising with bankers & financial institutes for funding purposes.
• Manage the acquisition of capital assets and ensure that assets are properly recorded, amortized, and disposed of as appropriate.
• Plan and control the company’s cash flow, funding, and budget allocation.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and reporting per company policy and procedures.
• Establish effective internal control procedures to improve accounting and reporting systems and filing systems.
• Assist in other projects and duties as assigned by management.
• It is good to have E-money business knowledge and background.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must possess at least Bachelor‘s Degree in Accountancy/Finance or Professional Accounting Qualification (ACCA/CIMA/MACPA/CPA).
• At least 5 years of experience in accounting related field preferred.
• Have knowledge of MYOB accounting, Microsoft Office tools is an advantage.
• Conversant in English and Bahasa Malaysia. The ability to converse in Mandarin would be an added advantage.
• Open to Malaysian citizens.
