Buyer (Senior Specialist)

Your Responsibilities

• Responsible for materials/ service availability, ensure the company and production is running smooth without any interruption
• Continuous improvement of materials cost competitiveness, safe and flexible supply chain by PO LT reduction
• To ensure Individual KPIs are met or exceeded the target by close monitoring, analyse and idea of improvement
• Control Material inventory and minimize material waste for plant
• Optimization of Excellent procedure, platform, digitalization in plant purchasing day to day work
• Monitor master data integrity
• Accurate and on time reporting
• Able to train up buyers excellent on all company system application
• Ensure all the purchase activities is carried up with compliance with company policies and requirement
• Optimization of Excellent procedure, platform, digitalization in plant purchasing day to day working
• Competitive, safe and flexible supply chain for ERSA
• Monitor master data integrity for ERSA
• Other Job assignment from superior

Your Profile

• Bachelor Degree/ Master in Supply Chain Management or Logistics or Engineering field from recognized institution or any equivalent field
• At least more than 5 years of experience in relevant position, eg. Purchasing/ Procurement/ Supply Chain/ Project Management, preferably in PCBA manufacturing/Semiconductor/ EMS Industry
• Knowledge of MRP ; Experience with SAP, Ariba; Core member in IT platform development project team
• Experience on new plant set up project
• Have strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Teamwork player, open mind, fast learning and good communication
• Fluent communication and articulation skills in business level English, strong presentation skills and ability to effectively communicate and interact with internally and supplier's management highly required
• Ability to speak/ converse in German/ Mandarin will be an added advantage
• Proficiency in Microsoft office tools (Excel, Word, PPT)
• Able to work under pressure
