Senior DevOps Engineer

- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline the software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to automate and optimize environments and processes.
- Monitor and manage cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) to ensure high availability and performance.
- Defining and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes for Dev Ops operation.
- Having the technical skill to review, verify, and validate the software code developed in the project.
- Implement and maintain configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (Ia C) using tools like Terraform or Cloud Formation.
- Ensure security best practices are implemented and maintained across all environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure system reliability and performance.
- Mentor and guide junior Dev Ops engineers, sharing best practices and technical expertise.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continually improve processes and infrastructure.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of experience in a Dev Ops role or related field. Preferred someone from IT Industry background.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, open-source technologies / Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git Lab CI, Circle CI, or Travis CI.
- Expertise in containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Ruby, Python, Perl and Java.
- Knowledge of configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code (Ia C) tools like Terraform, Cloud Formation.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with serverless architectures and frameworks.
- Knowledge of database management and optimization (SQL and No SQL)
- Certifications in relevant technologies (AWS Certified Dev Ops Engineer, Google Professional Dev Ops Engineer, etc.).
- Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Sunway Geo Avenue (Office will relocate to The Ascent @ Paradigm Mall around Q4 2024)
- Monday - Friday (Regular Working Hours)
