Senior Production Planner

Role Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Production Planner to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring product availability in alignment with target sales. You will play a key role in production planning, product innovation, purchasing, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Production Planning:
  • Monitor and update the production schedule based on product demand and supply.
  • Manage stock levels of raw materials and products, scheduling new purchase orders as needed.
  • Update raw material ordering forecasts for suppliers and manufacturers.
  • Ensure compliance with packaging artwork regulations.
  • Organize product delivery to distribution centers according to transportation schedules.
  • Verify incoming product quantities against delivery orders and coordinate with logistics.
Product Innovation:
  • Develop project timelines for new production initiatives, ensuring processes are on track for product launch.
Purchasing:
  • Collaborate with the accounts department to update outstanding payments to suppliers and manufacturers.
  • Prepare payment schedules and necessary documentation.
  • Create purchase orders in Oracle Netsuite, referencing SKU codes for all materials.
Reporting:
  • Generate weekly product reports, budget reports, demand and supply reports, and product availability reports.
Requirements:
  • Education: Degree in Science (Chemistry, Food Technology, Pharmacy, or Nutrition).
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year in purchasing and production; previous experience in a senior role preferred.
