REQUIREMENTS:

• Possess at least a Diploma/Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) in Automotive.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive maintenance and repair.
• Experience in fleet vehicle and port equipment maintenance (e.g., reach stackers, forklifts, prime movers, terminal tractors, and other vehicles) is highly advantageous.
• Must be able to work flexible rotating shifts (day, night, weekends, and holidays) and adapt to schedule changes as required by operational demands.
• Good command of spoken and written Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Good computer skills including in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, and Power Point).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The roles are to support the various responsibilities of the Port Equipment Department including:

• Prepare and execute preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance programs for all port equipment and fleet vehicle.
• Coordinate, supervise and lead subordinate performing work order issued.
• Manage work orders requests, develop time estimates, ensure efficient resource allocation and timely task completion.
• React with high urgency to any downtime or equipment breakdown and take immediate actions to rectify issues while ensuring quality standards are met.
• Manage inventory and assist engineer in procurement processes.
• Liaise with vendors and consultants to resolve equipment-related issues.
