- Possess at least a Diploma/Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) in Automotive.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive maintenance and repair.
- Experience in fleet vehicle and port equipment maintenance (e.g., reach stackers, forklifts, prime movers, terminal tractors, and other vehicles) is highly advantageous.
- Must be able to work flexible rotating shifts (day, night, weekends, and holidays) and adapt to schedule changes as required by operational demands.
- Good command of spoken and written Bahasa Malaysia and English.
- Good computer skills including in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, and Power Point).
The roles are to support the various responsibilities of the Port Equipment Department including:
- Prepare and execute preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance programs for all port equipment and fleet vehicle.
- Coordinate, supervise and lead subordinate performing work order issued.
- Manage work orders requests, develop time estimates, ensure efficient resource allocation and timely task completion.
- React with high urgency to any downtime or equipment breakdown and take immediate actions to rectify issues while ensuring quality standards are met.
- Manage inventory and assist engineer in procurement processes.
- Liaise with vendors and consultants to resolve equipment-related issues.
