- Responsible for providing reliable financial insights, analysis and projections for company
- Evaluates financial standing of Bidders as part of Contracts & Procurement department’s requirements.
- Prepare and provide the forecast Profit and Loss analysis to the above teams/departments in relation to the annual Business Plan for Hibiscus Malaysia, including the relevant detailed analysis for review and approval (including key performance metrics). Works closely with the Hibiscus Malaysia Business Planning team to achieve this.
- Prepare latest estimates/ forecast of financial results on monthly basis and monitor actual results closely to the estimates. Where shortfalls are expected as a result of the latest estimates, works closely with the affected departments to propose solutions and assist Senior Manager – Financial Planning & Analysis to present this to the Senior Management Team of Hibiscus Malaysia (including the Country Head). Prepare presentations that provide detailed insightful analysis, propose required action items, and effectively frame and document the decisions to be made.

- Prepare and provide the forecast and any reforecast of the cash flows including the relevant detailed analysis for review and approval (including key performance metrics).
- Works closely with the cost controller coordinator within Finance to understand and assess the basis, sufficiency and completeness of the month end accruals proposed by each cost controllers (within Hibiscus Malaysia) prior to posting of these entries.
- Represent Finance in performing financial evaluation for bidder’s financial standing as part of Contract and Procurement’s requirements.
- Possess a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or equivalent qualification from recognized universities. Preferably possess professional qualification (e.g. CA ANZ, ICAEW, ACCA, CPA, MIA).
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in accounting, planning or similar field, preferably in upstream Oil and Gas industry.
- Prior experience as external auditor in reputable audit firms will be an advantage.
- Excellent verbal, and written communication skills, and preferably an in-depth knowledge of PSC accounting and management reporting requirements.
- Proficiency in SUN Systems and Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel, Word, Power Points) applications will be an added advantage.
- Ability to anticipate and manage change and recommend solutions that enhance the interests of the company.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to consider the details and complexities of issues in arriving at proactive and innovative solutions.
- Independent, self-motivated, detail oriented, strong analytical and presentation skills.
- Ability to read, understand and interpret Financial Statements.
- Results driven with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal skill.
- Strong financial analytical skill.
Pay: Up to RM12,000.00 per month
