As an Accounts Payable Accountant, you will be responsible for a variety of accounting and bookkeeping tasks for several entities. With your experience and knowledge of processes and accounting systems, you are a great asset to our team.

Your responsibilities as an Accounts Payable Accountant initially include:

• Processing purchase invoices, reviewing open purchase orders and communicating potential accounting and payment issues with relevant departments such as Construction Management, Operations, IT, etc or suppliers;
• Daily processing bank statement and monthly reviewing of accounts payable ageing;
• Maintaining vendor master data;
• Maintaining other financial data (accounts payable and receivable) in the accounting system;
• Assisting in process improvement and implementations;
• Supporting the senior accountants with the monthly closing, VAT statements and the preparation of the necessary documents for the annual audit.

Job requirements

You are someone who takes the initiative and takes responsibility for the tasks assigned to you. A keen eye for detail and critical thinking will help you keep our financial records up to date and accurate. You should also meet the following criteria:

• Approximately 0 to 3 years of relevant accounts payable experience;
• Completed training in accounting or a related field;
• Fluent in English and professional in Dutch;
• Proactive and a team player;
• Stakeholder management and multitasking skills;
• Passion for contributing to a greener future.
