Your Role
We’re looking for a detail oriented and hands on Senior Graphic Designer (Art Director) to help shape the impact of our visual identity in a consistent way. With millions of new EV drivers set to hit the roads in the coming years, your work will be at the heart of transforming the brand into one that not only stands out in a quite monotone industry but truly inspires the next generations of drivers. You’ll help develop key design assets, from refining our visual language to creating visuals that make the switch to electric feel exciting and obvious. You’ll work across a variety of projects, keeping everything connected within the brand world while balancing the big picture and the finer details to create a cohesive, engaging experience.

You’ll play a key role in building and maintaining our brand world through a design lens, collaborating with the team to ensure everything fits seamlessly together. Whether you’re crafting a moodboard for a pan-European marketing campaign, fine-tuning website interactions, or adding pizzazz to investor decks, you’ll contribute to how people experience the brand, bringing structure and thoughtful design to every project.
The Work
So, what exactly will you be working on?
- Driving the design process for all visual materials—across digital, social, and physical channels—making sure everything from our app to our shop wayfinding looks and feels Fastned.
- Championing Fastned’s visual identity—keeping the brand consistent while introducing new ideas to add more depth.
- Building on our brand language—ensuring that every piece of content tells the Fastned story in a compelling, authentic way.
- Guiding more junior designers—Helping them grow by sharing your own experience as a designer and showcasing them best design practices.
- Overseeing the quality of design work across regions—making sure everything is aligned and that the brand stays on course as we expand. Managing stakeholder expectations—keeping projects running smoothly, suggesting better ways of working and file sharing, keeping deliverables on time, and on point.
Who are we looking for?
We’re looking for someone who:
- Embraces our Extra Electric mindset—finding smart, creative ways to make the shift to electric driving exciting for everyone.
- Has 7+ years of experience in a design role, but if your portfolio speaks volumes, we’d love to see it even if you’ve got less years under your belt.
- Has experience in branding, whether you’re freelance or from a creative agency or design studio.
- Is a pro with design tools like Figma (primary) and Adobe Suite.
- Brings clarity to the work and has the practical skills to create assets in a smarter, more efficient way while maintaining brand consistency.
- Knows what’s happening in the world of design and knows how to tap into those insights.
- Has worked with international brands or agencies and is hungry for more ownership and impact.
- Has an entrepreneurial spirit—you love finding new approaches to design challenges, but you’re also grounded in practicality.
- Bonus points! Has experience in animation, illustration or editing video content.
