As a Business Developer, you will be acting as a Data Advisor/Consultant and you will be enabling our Finance & Risk stakeholders to execute and adopt ABN AMRO Bank's Data Management Framework, while working in a compliant way (implementing BCBS239 regulation). Purpose hereof is to contribute to having complete and fit-for-purpose data within the Bank, to improve Data Quality for Finance & Risk Reports and Models, be able to trace the Data Lineage of our most Critical Data Elements, and to ensure that is in line with internal and regulatory expectations.

You do so by following the centralized Data Governance processes as defined in our Data Risk Policy and its Standard, including developing more detailed Guidelines which are specific to the Finance & Risk architectural landscape. You will also be responsible to track and monitor the execution of this implementation, building Management Information Dashboards and reporting to Finance & Risk Management Teams and Ex Bo.
Additionally you will be expected to actively contribute to sharing knowledge about Data Management and to improving the process.

You will directly contribute to the following deliverables:

• Supporting the Finance & Risk stakeholders in the execution and implementation of the Data Management Framework,
• Developing Guidelines & templates to be used by our F&R stakeholders,
• Monitoring the progress of the execution and report on that to the Finance & Risk MTs via MI Dashboards,
• Proposal for improvements on the Way of Working and processes, and implementation of the same,
• Providing knowledge sharing sessions to F&R stakeholders.

Werkomgeving

The Finance & Risk Data Domain k is part of the Finance & Risk Business Grids (within Finance), and plays an active role for all the Finance & Risk departments. We employ 250+ staff, all of whom share a passion for getting the most out of Finance & Risk data. Our aim is to generate reliable F&R data on time. We do this by improving the F&R data itself, data systems and data processes.

You will work in the Data Governance & Compliance Department as part of the F&R Data Value Chain team. Like the other teams, yours will largely consist of young, driven professionals. The atmosphere is open and informal. We work hard, but there's plenty of room for enjoyment!

Our ideal candidate is a pro-active, passionate person who enjoys bringing structure to a continuously changing environment, has a proven track record in driving change in organizations with complex setups and recognizes the importance of Data Management.
If you think this sounds like you, check to see if your profile matches the following:

• You've successfully completed a higher professional education (Bsc.) or degree (Msc.) and have at least 3-5 years of relevant work experience
• You have knowledge of Data Management best practices (e.g. DAMA)
• You are experienced in data management and/or Finance and Risk management Reporting (prior experience with BCBS 239 is a strong plus)
• You are experienced with regulations and regulatory requirements
• You have affinity with banking, Finance & Risk Management, Reporting & Modelling
• You have a strong sense for analysis
• You are familiar with the Agile way of working
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English (Dutch is an advantage)
