· Nationally recognized/certified university qualification on electrical engineering or computer science / programming
· Or exceptionally, the lack of a university degree may be compensated by the demonstration of a candidate's particular abilities or experience that is/are of interest to NCI Agency, that is, at least 3 years extensive and progressive expertise in duties related to the function of the post
· Must demonstrate expert knowledge of microwave and signal processing
· Must demonstrate expert level knowledge C-UAS technologies including:
ü Direction Finding technologies (e.g. phase array antenna, time difference of arrival etc.)
ü Radar technologies (e.g. pulse Doppler, FMCW, etc.)
ü EO/IR technologies
ü Cyber effectors
· Must demonstrate expert level knowledge of UAS systems, in particular radiofrequency communication protocols
· Must demonstrate expert level knowledge of airborne electronic warfare technologies
· Must demonstrate expert level knowledge of target tracking and data fusion techniques (e.g. Kalman filter, Particle filter etc.)
· Excellent knowledge level of programing languages such as Python, Gnu Radio, Matlab, Labview, C and C++
· Must have experience in using source control systems and Dev Ops (Git Hub, TFS)
· Must have experience with the NATO procurement process

DUTIES/ROLE:
· Develop technical requirements for C-UAS acquisition projects
· Prototype and evaluate C-UAS technologies,
· Support multidisciplinary teams and technical and operational stakeholders
· Participate in technical and operational meetings, offering advice and seeking solutions
· Support NATO in the development of recommendations for updates to current services
· Provide meaningful input to envisioning C-UAS solutions that fit best NATO requirements
