Job Summary:
The Commissioning Lead will play a key role in the successful delivery of data center projects. You will be responsible for leading and executing commissioning activities for specific systems within a larger project, ensuring that they are installed, tested, and operational according to design specifications and industry best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Execute commissioning activities for assigned systems within data center construction and expansion projects. This may include electrical systems, mechanical systems, fire alarm systems, or other critical infrastructure.
- Conduct thorough inspections and functional testing of equipment and systems.
- Collaborate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure proper installation and functionality.
- Identify and document any deficiencies or deviations from design specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve commissioning issues in a timely manner.
- Generate comprehensive commissioning reports and documentation.
- Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to all safety regulations.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of commissioning processes.
- Technical diploma or degree in a relevant field (e.g., electrical, mechanical, controls).
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in commissioning
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
