Data Management Expert – Amsterdam, Hybrid

Levy Professionals is currently looking for Data Management Experts with strong experience in strategy, performance management and compliance for one of the largest financial institutions in the Netherlands. As part of the efforts institute a new performance framework for the upcoming new fiscal year, you will be joining the bank to lead the implementation and adoption of the new framework with a variety of stakeholders and drive the company’s data management capabilities and performance.
Responsibilities
As a Data Management Expert, you will be under the direction supervision of the Executive Board and Supervisory Board to ensure a sound implementation of the framework and related KPIs and other targets across the different departments involved with data management activities. Your key responsibilities include:
- Ensure awareness and compliance with the established Data Management Performance Framework amongst managers of various teams,
- Define Data Management KPIs for 2025, set periodical targets based on organizational context,
- Ensure that the defined KPIs are being adopted by managers and the overall data organization and that resulting reports comply to the initial framework design,
- Report to the Boards on the evolution of the framework’s implementation and take initiative to solve any challenges faced in the adoption phase (issues can be escalated with relevant stakeholders for increased support).
Who are you?
- Expertise in Data Governance, Data Management, or related roles (familiar with DAMA, DMBOK, Data Mesh, BCBS238, etc)
- Experience in driving KPIs definitions and target setting processes,
- Excellent stakeholders management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders across departments and disciplines.
