Job Description
In the Robotic Application Software Development department, we develop software that helps automate dairy farms. We work on a range of products that includes our flagship milking robot and our automated guided vehicles. We are looking for engineers to strengthen our team.
As a Software Engineer, you are responsible for the development and maintenance of our automated farming solutions.
You work in a multidisciplinary team composed of software and test engineers, but also data analysts or electronics engineers depending on the project you are on. In our Agile set up, you participate in all product development phases to create a production-worthy system.
You help translate requirements to a solid software design. You play a proactive role in designing, improving, and guarding the software architecture.

Job Description

Are you the experienced software engineer we are looking for?
Your main responsibilities are:
- Designing, implementing, and testing of Python and C++ software.
- Optimizing data structures and algorithms used in production.
- Maintaining existing embedded software.
- Ensuring quality control based on design, code reviews, unit and integration testing, and addressing technical debt.
- Contributing to the Agile work process by setting targets, reporting on progress, and managing risks and threats.
Qualifications
- You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a similar domain.
- You have experience with Python 3.7 and above and are familiar with C++.
- You have working knowledge of embedded Linux and Git.
- You approach problems from a system point of view.
- You can produce well-written documentation.
- You did your homework about cyber security.
- You are familiar with multidisciplinary Agile Scrum team set ups.
- It would be a plus if you have experience with CI/CD systems.
