With the continued growth of our school, we are in need of an enthusiastic, collaborative, and knowledgeable colleague to join our team on the South Campus. Ideally, the candidate has an understanding of the IB, is flexible, resilient, and open to new ideas. The chosen candidate would be teaching MYP English Language and Literature and Theory of Knowledge in the DP.
You would be joining a growing school, with 2300 students spread across 2 beautiful campuses.
- Our campus in the South of Amsterdam, opened in January 2022
- And our brand-new campus in the South East of Amsterdam, opened in August 2023
Job size: 0.6 fte (full-time equivalent) 3 days a week (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday)
Start date: 1st January 2025
***a DUO-validated (Dutch Ministry of Education) teaching degree for secondary school education is required to teach in the Netherlands*** Please go to the following link for the certification and validation request.

About the Amsterdam International Community School (AICS)
The AICS is a Dutch International Primary and Secondary School in the Netherlands. We are an IB World School school that offers PYP, MYP, DP, and CP. Together with a number of other Amsterdam-based Dutch schools we form ‘Esprit Scholen’.
