Are you looking for a part-time engagement allowing you to interact with international students and staff? Are you interested in playing a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and smooth running of examinations within our business school? Are you reliable, detail-oriented and punctual?
We are looking for dedicated individuals to join our committed team of invigilators in maintaining a secure and fair testing environment for our students.
Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Ensure the set-up of the examination room in accordance with established guidelines and procedures.
• Verify the identity of students and provide instructions for the examination.
• Monitor the examination room to prevent cheating, unauthorised materials or any disruptive behaviour.
• Maintain a quiet and controlled testing environment throughout the duration of the exam.
• Collect completed exam papers and ensure they are submitted securely.
• Report any irregularities or breaches of examination protocols to the appropriate authority.
• Provide assistance to students with special accommodations as required.

Requirements:

• Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills, equipping you to deal with students from 100+ nationalities.
• Calm, open and supportive attitude.
• Attention to detail, ability to follow instructions precisely, punctuality and reliability.
• Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations.
• Sufficient availability during scheduled exam weeks (see General Year Planning).
• Prior experience as an exam invigilator and/or within (higher) education is a plus but not required.
• Based in proximity of our Apeldoorn campus or Amsterdam study location
• Eligible to work in the Netherlands

This position is part-time and offers flexible hours, depending on our General Year Planning. Our exams are planned during 8 fixed times throughout the year. Invigilators will be scheduled on an as-needed basis on those weeks.
