This Field Application Engineer position is the one for you!

5V Tech is working in partnership with a company in Enschede, leaders in Io T consumer technology, passionate about innovation and making smart homes tech accessible to all and user-friendly. As a key player in the Application Engineering team, you will be the technical liaison between the customers and the groundbreaking solutions they offer. Your role is not just about meeting customer needs but anticipating them, driving projects from pre-sales feasibility to project initiation, and maintaining strong customer relations throughout.

Your Mission will revolve around:

• Customer Engagement: Be the face of their technology, interacting with technical teams at customer organizations to understand their unique challenges and needs.
• Feasibility & Advantage Creation: Work with engineering teams to assess the feasibility of customer requests, develop new features, and stay ahead of the competition.
• Strategic Specification: Develop comprehensive specification documents for sales purposes, ensuring our solutions align with customer requirements.
• Product Definition: Define hardware, software, and mechanical features, contributing to the specification of our revolutionary products.
• Feasibility & Advantage Creation: Work with engineering teams to assess the feasibility of customer requests, develop new features, and stay ahead of the competition.

You will need:

• Excellent communication and project coordination skills
• A good understanding of systems architecture, including electronics, software, and embedded solutions
• Proficiency in speaking the language of RF systems, with experience in consumer RF technologies like Wi Fi, BLE, Zigbee, Thread, Matter, and Sub Gig
• Revelant working experience, with a focus on customer-facing roles and project coordination
• A flexible mindset and a willingness to travel up to 25%.
• Knowledge of NPI
