Functional Safety Engineer

Tasks & responsibilities
- Calculation of "Safety Integrity Level" (SIL) and Performance Level (PL).
- Consultation with the specialist departments on technical solutions.
- Preparation of documentation for functional safety.
- Examination of the implementation of security functions (hardware and software).
- Evaluation of hardware and software solutions according to functional safety specifications.
- Agreements with external experts and authorities.

What we ask of you
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or computer science or comparable with relevant professional experience.
- Knowledge of ISO 13849, IEC 61508 and ISO 12100 (risk assessment).
- Knowledge of industrial control systems coupled with a solid understanding of general engineering concepts.
- Strong assertiveness as well as goal- and solution-oriented action.
- Good presentation and communication skills.
- Technical and business-fluent English.
- Functional Safety Engineer according to ISO 13849 is an advantage.
