What will be your role?
As the Head Bartender in BARBOUNIA & Lounge, you will oversee the bar operation, ensuring a smooth flow of drinks to both the restaurant and lounge while maintaining the highest standards of beverage quality.

In this role, you will be responsible for creating innovative drink menus, training baristas, and managing beverage cost control. You will also provide a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. We seek a developing leader who excels in delivering thoughtful and professional service while maintaining oversight of bar operations. You will report directly to the BARBOUNIA & Lounge Manager.

In the glass atrium of the Conservatorium Hotel, you will find BARBOUNIA; an all-day culinary haven inspired by the azure waters of the Mediterranean Sea and the warm spirit of ‘La dolce vita’. BARBOUNIA is a celebration of authentic cuisine from the South of France, Italy and Greece. It offers a journey through the sun-soaked flavours of the region.

As Head Bartender you will work closely with the Supervisors and BARBOUNIA & Lounge Manager to achieve operational and commercial success, personalise guest experiences to the standards of the Conservatorium Hotel.

Who are we looking for?
Our new Head Bartender is both passionate and determined. You have a welcoming personality, enjoys lively conversation, team work and as able to work well under pressure. Furthermore, you are/have:

A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within a hotel bar or restaurant;
Strong knowledge of coffee and barista duties, as well as cocktail preparation;
Experienced in quality control, purchasing, and bar management;
Proficiency in English is essential (Dutch is preferred);
Availability for mornings, evenings and weekends.
