Position Overview: Working within the Sales team, the Sales Representative is responsible for maintaining customer relationships and expanding market presence in Germany and contributes actively to the results. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of sales principles, excellent communication and organizational skills, and proficiency in needed languages. Responsibilities:
- Customer Relationship Management: Maintain good customer contacts with all necessary departments and functions on the customer side, including purchasing, product management, and marketing.
- Customer Visits: Conduct necessary customer visits to improve/maintain business relationships, address insufficiencies, and discuss business propositions. Multiple travelling days might be necessary.
- Market Analysis: Collect market, competition, and price information from the responsible market/region on a regular basis and report relevant information to related departments and management in the company.
- Marketing Coordination: Coordinate necessary marketing activities such as customer exhibitions, product training, marketing material distribution, advertisements, channel, and sales promotions.
- Quotation Management: Handle customer quotations and all necessary follow-ups. Prepare price lists for the responsible market/region.
- Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and develop new prospects and leads. Promote clients adopting new products in the range.
- Strategic Planning Support: Support the Sales Manager in preparing annual sales forecasts and sales strategy plans.
- Sales Forecasting: Control if monthly sales forecast is achieved for the responsible market/region.
- Order Processing: Ensure all customer sales orders are processed properly and products are shipped accordingly by co-working with sales colleagues and other departments in the company. Most orders are automatically entered in the system and partially executed.
- Invoice Collections: Manage customer in case of overdue invoices.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Commerce, Business Administration, Marketing, International Business, Automotive Industry, or Engineering with an interest in commerce.
- Or at least 5 years of relevant experience and/or training in sales, product management, strategy planning, project management, or purchasing in combination with business education.
- Years of knowledge and/or experience in the car parts aftermarket is a plus
- Proficiency in English and in market required local language
- Good skills in Microsoft Office like Excel and Power Point.
- Willingness to travel
