Job overview..

Netherlands: Provide onsite IT support for the Netherlands locations
EMEA: remote support
EMEA: hardware delivery: shipping of IT hardware to sites and users
Standby/after hours on call for emergencies

What you'll be doing...

Onsite support for Netherlands sites, this includes regular visits to our locations in Rotterdam and Klundert
EMEA hardware delivery, including maintaining our central Dordrecht stockroom and disposal room, organizing hardware shipments to VGO employees in EMEA and hardware returns/disposals
EMEA remote support. Tier 3 remote support for more complex pc and infrastructure issues for EMEA users
On call/ after hours for emergencies & systems upgrades. The onsite tech is the listed primary contact for the Netherlands sites in case of infrastructure issues, this might require working in a site after hours.
Computerroom and network support. This includes the network/computerrooms in the Netherlands locations, maintaining network cabling (patching), regular health checks of equipment etc.
Plant/warehouse/Lab support; supporting some of the equipment used in our plants and warehouses such as: wireless barcode scanners, dedicated desktop pc’s, industrial label printers etc.

What you'll bring...

MTS or HTS computer technology
3+ years of experience, preferably in an international organization
ITIL foundation preferred, Microsoft windows certification is a pre
Drivers license
Excellent dutch and english language skills both oral and writing
PC and windows (10&11) skills
Understanding networks (tcp/ip, wiring and patching)
