Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Provide technical and troubleshooting assistance for computer hardware, software, mobile devices, and other technology tools and products.
• Offer first and second-level technical support through calls, tickets, and user interactions.
• Ensure prompt responses to IT-related queries from end-users.
• Document all end-user interactions reliably using the customer ticket system 'Service Now' (including incidents and requests).
• Create, maintain, and utilize knowledge articles for efficient issue resolution.
• Conduct IT onboarding training sessions for new employees.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the IT support framework.

Requirements:

• Language skills: Fluent (B2+) in Dutch and English; knowledge of other languages is advantageous.
• 1+ years of experience in a similar technical support role.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication skills with a customer-oriented approach.
• Attention to detail and the ability to multitask, managing interactions with multiple stakeholders.
• Prioritization skills and the willingness to work independently and with organization.
• Team player with a supportive personality.
• Experience in regulated IT environments (e.g., Gx P) is a plus.
• All candidates must provide a criminal record not older than 3 months.

The role involves providing on-site and desk-side support services to end-users, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and requests within specified SLAs in a dynamic environment. Key responsibilities include building, configuring, and troubleshooting "Gold" images on customer PCs and laptops, updating tickets daily, and supporting meeting room environments and video conferencing. The position also encompasses supporting peripherals, mobile devices (i Pads, i Phones, Android devices), and performing end-user data backup and restoration.
Additionally, the role entails smart hands support for data center equipment, collaborating with Customer Tech Support for troubleshooting, and replacing defective components as directed. The individual must possess excellent customer-facing skills, proactively think independently, and establish effective relationships within the team and across the business. The candidate should adhere to specified standards, exhibit sound ethical workplace practices, and work autonomously when necessary.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Ability to work to specified standards and ethical workplace practices
- Experience in using a Call Logging system
- Proficiency in Windows 7/10 and related Office applications
- Support experience with MACs is advantageous
- Knowledge of mobile devices, including Androids and i Phones
- Familiarity with current and legacy hardware platforms
- Experience in building, configuring, replacing, and troubleshooting PC and laptop hardware components
- Familiarity with Microsoft SCCM
- Hands-on experience in installation and troubleshooting of data center equipment, rack, and stack
- Excellent communication skills in English and the local language
- Completion of Comp TIA certifications (e.g., A+, Network+) is required
- Completion (or near completion) of Microsoft certifications (e.g., MCP, MCITP, MCSE) is preferred
The successful candidate should demonstrate basic management skills, possess good teamwork capabilities, and be able to resolve complex customer problems to maximize system availability in standardized customer environments. This role demands organizational skills, prioritization abilities, and the initiative to work alone and unsupervised.
