Reporting directly to the Business Applications Manager you will play a crucial role working in a team that supports GÉANT as an organisation and the network we are responsible for running.

We’re looking for someone to work from our Amsterdam office so you’ll need to have the right to work in the Netherlands as well as live within commuting distance of the office. This is a hybrid working role so you will need to spend at least two days in the office each week. The role will be offered as a 1-year definite contract, with the possibility of becoming indefinite thereafter.

• Be educated to degree level, or have equivalent experience, in computer science or information systems.
• Have programming knowledge using recent versions of Python 3.x, and experience with pip, setuptools, tox and other common tools.
• Have Experience working with git.
• Show a high level of experience and comfort working with Linux (RHEL 7/8, Ubuntu 20.04/22.04), bash and other common cli tools.
