In our dynamic region, you’ll be an effective MT member and sparring partner for your business partners. Together with your team, you’ll manage the full financial control of our services, from invoicing to complex analyses and report preparation. You’re on it!

How will you do this? Your communication skills and critical mindset enable you to analyze and optimize margins, and effectively communicate these insights with your operational colleagues. You’ll achieve this by:

• accurately reporting financial figures and preparing periodic and ad-hoc management information, including budgets and rolling forecasts;
• leading the finance department, guiding the team in their tasks and personal development;
• supporting sales and account management through numerical analyses for tender proposals and advising on our rate structure;
• collaborating closely with your operational colleagues to implement process improvements and drive positive impact;
• critically evaluating investment proposals and providing project control during implementations.

Your team stands out at DSV as the financial conscience of logistics operations in the Southwest Netherlands. Together with management, we discuss business economic issues and enhance the role of controlling. As business control manager, you’ll work closely with the regional director, site managers, business support manager, and other MT members. Together, you aim for nothing less than success.

You bring

• a completed bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in business economics or accountancy;
• 5 to 8 years of relevant work experience in a similar field;
• a critical eye, a results-oriented approach, and excellent analytical and leadership skills;
• communication skills that allow you to operate in both Dutch and English across all levels of the organization;
• affinity with the logistics sector and a hands-on, no-nonsense attitude.
