Pastry Chef de Partie

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and produce a variety of pastry items following precise recipes, portion guidelines, and presentation standards set by the pastry chef.
- Create baked goods for restaurant service, whole cake orders, and special events, ensuring high-quality output.
- Monitor stock levels of ingredients and communicate needs to the pastry chef to ensure efficient operations.
- Set up and organise cake buffets for special occasions, enhancing the dining experience for guests.
- Plan and manage daily tasks in the pastry kitchen, meeting deadlines for catering orders and restaurant pastry requirements.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised workstation, adhering to HACCP guidelines for hygiene and safety.
- Operate baking tools, measuring equipment, and appliances safely and accurately to craft baked products.
- Coordinate the distribution of pastries to all Dignita restaurant locations.
- Stay updated on food trends and collaborate with the pastry chef to develop creative, appealing new items for the pastry counter.
- You have completed formal pastry training or have at least 1-2 years of proven experience as a pastry chef.
- You have a keen eye for detail, ensuring consistency and maintaining the highest quality standards in every product.
- You’re a problem solver, skilled at adapting recipes to different equipment and troubleshooting pastry-related challenges with ease.
- You are knowledgeable about HACCP guidelines and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- You have a strong command of English, and basic knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
- You are energetic, highly organised, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- You have a positive, communicative personality and work well both independently and within a team.
- You are creative and enjoy contributing to the development of new and exciting products.

We serve the following terms of employment:
- Full-time salary based on experience, between €2,300-€2,500 gross (Horeca collective labor agreement, scale V) and 8% holiday allowance
- Eight-hour work days between 8:00 and 19:00
- 5 weeks holiday
- Pension fund accrual at PHen C
- Travel allowance in consultation
- Discount! Outside working hours you always get a 50% discount and during working hours you have brunch for only € 2,25

Do – We use the profit from the Dignita restaurants in our Not For Sale foundation, which helps people who have been victims of exploitation.
Good – Not for Sale helps this vulnerable group with, among other things, certified training programs in hospitality, administration and IT. This gives them new opportunities on the labour market. 'Do Good' is also central to the Dignita workplace. We are an international and diverse team in which colleagues help each other and support each other’s growth.

Pay: From €2.300,00 per month
